DISPENSING
Dispensing innovation
Sulzer has a rapidlyevolving
portfolio of
MIXPAC dispensers
and cartridges for composite
adhesives. The products show
the company’s continuous
commitment to offer key
solutions that address current
and future customer needs in
a variety of sectors, such as
automotive, renewable energy,
aerospace and construction.
Sulzer, which claims
to be the world’s leading
manufacturer of systems
for packaging, mixing and
dispensing single and multicomponent
bonding and
sealing materials, presents
its latest solutions to address
these challenges.
LESS PLASTIC WASTE WITH
ECO-PACKAGING OPTION
Something of interest for
anyone concerned about the
sustainability of adhesive
packaging and dispensing
systems will be Mixpac
ecopaCC collapsible
cartridges from Sulzer. This
solution for two-component
adhesives and sealants greatly
reduces waste, thanks to its
innovative design. In effect,
ecopaCC cartridges compress
and reduce their size as the
two adhesive components
are dispensed. As a
result, it is possible
to reduce adhesive
packaging waste
volume up to 82% as well
as associated disposal costs
depending on cartridge
volume.
PRECISION PNEUMATIC
DISPENSING
Also, on show is Sulzer’s
latest generation of highly
accurate DP2X pneumatic
two-component dispensers.
Taking a look at Sulzer’s comprehensive range of adhesive dispensing
solutions for a diverse range of applications.
The DP2X is built around
strong but
lightweight
aluminum frames
and is designed
for performance
and reliability. The
product provides great
flexibility as it is compatible
with the latest Mixpac
cartridge systems.
The handling balance of
this unit has been carefully
designed. Additionally, it
is up to 35% lighter than
comparable solutions. This
allows users to comfortably
perform challenging and
precise applications for longer
periods.
BATTERY POWER OFFERS
BEST OF BOTH WORLDS
Sulzer also has two newlyreleased
cordless 18V batterypowered
dispensers that help
end users extrude accurate
amounts of adhesives
and sealants, reducing
waste while improving
operational efficiency. The
Cox ElectraFlow Dual Ultra
600 1:1 and ElectraFlow Plus
units are ideal for operators
using high volumes of sealant
or two-component epoxy
products. These innovations
have already been launched in
North America and are now
being presented to the global
and European markets for the
first time.
Also available are Sulzer’s
F-, B- and K-dispensing
systems for industrial
applications as well as Cox
and MK series of pneumatic,
battery and manual
dispensers. These give end
users full control over the
liquid dispensing process.
In addition, there is Sulzer
MixCoat spray dispensing
system DPS 1500 for twocomponent
two
materials. This
is a portable solution for
the application of protective
coatings, such as anticorrosive
sprays. By selecting
this tool, manufacturers and
maintenance specialists can
avoid overspray and treat
surfaces that are difficult
to access with conventional
dispensing equipment,
improving the quality of the
coating.
Sulzer’s Mixpac and
Quadro static mixers are
designed to optimize mixing
between multiple components
during liquid dispensing while
avoiding material leakage. In
this way, end users can apply
well-homogenised adhesives
and sealants, delivering
high-quality results.
In line with Sulzer’s
System Approach, all the
solutions – as well as the
entire product offering – are
designed to seamlessly fit
together, providing optimal
user experience and excellent
end results.
